This course is designed to provide basic knowledge for

beginners to read, navigate, and use construction documents.

Introduces plans, elevations, sections, details, symbols,

dimensions, scales, and notes found in architectural, civil,

mechanical, and structural drawings.

ESTIMATING - February 4 & 25, 2026 | 8:00AM - 10:00AM

This course introduces beginners to the bidding process,

the different phases of estimating, and the means and

methods employed in creating estimates. Also includes

hands-on exercises.

PROJECT SCHEDULING - March 11 & 25, 2026 | 8:00AM - 10:00AM

This course focuses on construction scheduling logic, critical path

methodology, updating project schedules and formatting for reporting

and management.

RFI’S & SUBMITTALS - April 8 & 22, 2026 | 8:00AM - 10:00AM

This course introduces beginners to the purpose of RFI’s & Submittals, creating &

tracking them, and hands-on exercises.

CONTRACTS & INSURANCES - May 6 & 20, 2026 | 8:00AM - 10:00AM

This course introduces beginners to the importance of contracts and insurances

including key elements, and hands-on exercises.

BUDGET MANAGEMENT - June 3 & 17, 2026 | 8:00AM - 10:00AM

This course introduces beginners to the concept of ‘Cost-to-Completion’ budgeting and

the importance of reporting, tracking, and projecting construction costs throughout

the lifecycle of a project.
